DESCRIPTION:Europa necesita a sus regiones y ciudades tanto como ellas necesitan Europa. Pocas semanas antes de las elecciones europeas, los líderes de las regiones y ciudades del proyecto común se reunirán en la 8.ª Cumbre Europea de Regiones y Ciudades para hacer oír sus voces y sus ideas sobre qué necesita Europa para enfrentar este momento crucial y avanzar hacia la implementación de la Agenda 2030.\nEsta cumbre de regiones y ciudades adoptará una declaración que establecerá una visión renovada de la Unión Europea. Manifestará la necesidad de una Unión Europea que trabaja para y con sus ciudades, construida en democracia, en la que las políticas regionales y locales son claves, donde la solidaridad está en el corazón del proyecto común y asegura que no se deja a nadie atrás.
